According to my Ate, I’ve inherited my love for sewing and repairing clothes from my mum. She used to sew clothes and pranelas and then sell them in her sari-sari store (mini convenience store) back then. I resize or re-style the clothes I used to buy from this warehouse sale, approximately 5-minute drive from our house. You just have to do a lot of digging to find your treasure and size, if you’re lucky enough. It’s not ukay ukay or clothes that were already worn by others and sold for a mega cheaper price, I think they are just de’mode’. But fashion trends repeat itself, so, who cares! It’s just a matter of making yourself look good in them. AND give justice to an outfit.
So… say hello to my baby, Toms. I bought him last October 3, 2011 in Ge’ant supermarket LOL

That’s the picture I got online. That ain’t really him, maybe that’s his second-cousin.

Well, I named him after the brand of shoes I just purchased. tee hee
This was his box.

He’s a Brother model LS-2125 sewing machine with 14 built-in stiches that comes with a DVD!!! Yayy!!! The box says 23 built-in stiches. What a liar.
I have zero experience using a sewing machine so I just rely on he DVD, passion and, of course, youtube. ;)

My boy toy and I.
